In The Spirit – Part 4

Our pastor reminded us from Romans 8 and Galatians 5 that we must choose daily to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh, because fleshly living leads to death while spiritual living brings life and peace. Using Peter walking on the water in Matthew 14, he showed us that Jesus sometimes *constrains* us into storms we wouldn’t choose, not to destroy us but to reveal Himself walking above the very waves that threaten us. We were challenged to love God more than we hate our trials, to keep our eyes on Jesus in every storm, and to bear real fruit as branches in the true Vine so that our lives clearly show that we belong to Him.
