In The Spirit – Part 2

Pastor reminds us that being “in the Spirit” is far more than experiencing spiritual manifestations, it is a daily life lived under the lordship of Christ rather than the control of our flesh. Our flesh and the Spirit are always at war, and even in the hardest circumstances we can still choose to walk in the Spirit. As Christians, we’re called to let our primary aim be to glorify God, just as Jesus declared in John 17, rather than protect our own image, comfort, or preferences. We must surrender ourselves as living sacrifices, trust God in our “Patmos” seasons, and allow His Spirit to transform us more and more into the likeness of Christ.
